I'll ask around and see what I can find out. I've seen that type of error message before, but don't remember exactly what causes it or what can be done to fix it.

Ok. I did some asking and found out what the problem is. PHP includes a setting that limits how much memory a script can use, and apparently posting in that forum requires more than 8MB of memory. So, you should ask your host to increase the memory_limit value in php.ini to "9M" (9MB). If they don't or refuse to, I can show you how to set it this way for vBulletin (ie increase the amount of memory that vBulletin is allowed to use).
