Trick or treat!

I'll take the trick. haha. One time when trick or treating as a child I knocked on a door and a guy answered and I said, "Trick or treat". He said, "Okay I'll take the trick." I said, "Huh?" He said, "I'll take the trick. What trick are you gonna pull on me if I don't give you a treat?" I was just standing there dumbstruck, "Ummmm....uhhhh..." Then he smiled and gave me some candy. That's the only time anyone had ever threw me that curveball! Did any of you ever have that happen to you?

Yeah, some friends of mine and I were out one year and the lady at the door we were at was like "How about some tricks" and I was clueless so I'm like, "I will now pull a piece of candy out of my sack!", because I thought she meant like magic tricks! My mom told me I could just do a somersault or something the next time someone asked which did happen and they were much more impressed when I did that instead. I had to have been about 7 years old.

Happy Halloween! We got sacked! True it's only 6:30 here, but we opened the flood gates to trick or treaters around 5, within an hour, we were almost out of candy! I just got back from the drugstore with 3 more bags of candy, and wouldn't you know it? We haven't had a single kid since!

I'm not expecting anybody for a couple hours. Last year, there were only 15 kids total that came. lol
