Kids are far more likely to get hit by cars on Halloween than they are kidnapped by predators or poisoned by tainted sweets.

Oh, I forgot another one:

"There's a growing problem with American children today... they're too fat! My God, they're SO fat! Half their entire bodies hang over the edge of their desk chairs, they take up entire seats on the buses, the tiles on the floor crack when they walk down the hallways, they can barely fit through the doorways... did we mention kids today are SO FAT?! That's why you, the parents, NEED to STOP giving kids candy on Halloween! Instead, it's highly recommended that you give out healthier alternatives to kids when they come to your doors, such as boxes of raisins, pretzel sticks, granola bars, and other such things that kids don't even want to actually eat, but should be reeducated to do so. Remember, it's your fault, as parents, that your kids are little fatty-fatties eatin' sausage patties, that's why kids need healthier alternatives in their treat bags this Halloween, and now, back to Stormy Day with our weather, Stormy?"
Once again, I called it... seriously! There's a woman (in North Carolina, I think) whose made the news today, because apparently, she's not giving kids candy this Halloween, but rather, passive aggressive notes for them to give to their parents telling them that their kids are fat, and shouldn't be trick-or-treating.

Heck, she's even saying that parents are irresponsible for letting kids trick-or-treating because they don't need to be eating candy, and that they need to actually discipline their kids and make them eat healtier.

Did I not call it? Honestly.

Scary fact: Too much candy will not just make you fat, but will give you a lot of nightmares. *shudders*

Apparently Halloween maybe a washout this year for us... all the meteorologists are predicting like this big apocolyptic storm blowing through the area tomorrow. Wooo, scary.

Freakin' heck, man. Can't you Christmas advertisements wait until freaking November 1st?!?! I mean really. I've seen, like, what... like 4 Halloween commercials, 2 of them were recycled (Kit Kat and M&M's... reused all the way back in the full frame TV days), and then there's that AT&T or whatever one with the entire family dressed up as a Star Wars (which..heh... it's kinda cute, actually) and a last minute that other telephone provider that uses the precocious kids.

There were at least 5 Christmas commercials alone during the Halloween episode of Modern Family (which was disappointingly a freakin rerun). See? I told you they're rushing Halloween out the door.

:sigh: Another Halloween without Alice Cooper hosting an all-day Munsters marathon on WGN... WHY did they stop doing that? That was the only time of year you could see THE MUNSTERS anymore. :smirk:
