I believe this song is "If Ever I Would Leave You" or similar title, this was NOT especially written for SS. It is a song from the musical Camelot, written by Lerner and Loewe. It was written just as a love song, but parodied in a funny way here to teach about the seasons. I think this is the song you're looking for, I seem to remember Guy Smiley singing it.

I am pretty sure I remember it. I think I can remember the winter part of the song where he is wearing a red scarf etc.
