Is this for real!? I LOVED the Gummi Bears!!!! It was my favorite of the original Disney Afternoon line up. Whatever happened to these great characters? They aren't even in reruns anymore. Its so great to see these classic cartoon shows coming out on DVD. I saw Animaniacs at Best Buy yesterday and was so excited. I didn't buy it yet, but I plan to add it to my collection as well. That show got me through junior high.

Tha'ts cool, but I wish they'd hurry up and put more DuckTales on DVD. I mean c'mon, wasn't that like the most successful series that they ever made?!? Seems like it would deserve more exposure.

Gummi Bears, I'll pass myself, but glad other fans are getting what they want.

I know, it's amazing that so many '80s shows are suddenly popping up. Though odd that they are doing so with so little publicity.

It looks like their intention is to get these '80s kids shows out, but not make a fuss about it, because it's not their target audience. Adults who never watched them won't buy them for their kids. Kids have their own cartoons that they want to buy. And that's where the money is.

So they'll release these shows, but the people who watched them who are in their 20s now do not bring in the income of the parents with kids. Of course this is just generally speaking, there are exceptions.

I know exactly what you mean about Parent's not buying these shows for there kids. It's like the lost generation of 80's cartoons, hehe! It's like our own little underground movement, LoL!
