SS Muppets are known for their very distinct and affecionate(and sometimes bizzare) personalities. Which are the best? Here are mine:
5. Herry Monster -
He's super strong I always found that quite cool, espicially when he picked up that rock to make room for the garden on Sesame St. !
4. Oscar the Grouch -
The guy loves trash! What more can I say? Lol.
3. Ernie -
Ernie has to be the most humorous of the bunch. He's always playing jokes, espicially on "you know who". But hey, what's wrong with a guy wanting to have a little fun? Ernie, in my opinion, also sings some of the shows most memorable songs, my favorite being "I Don't Want to Live On the Moon". It really showed a more serious tone to him.
2. Grover -
Grover used to make me laugh a lot as a child, I really enjoyed the waiter Grover sketches the most. Lol, I always found it strange that he had all these different jobs, yet, in certain books, he was seen as an innocent kid who only wanted his mommy. So how old IS this guy?
1. Telly Monster -
He is a great character, and it's always entertaining when Telly is in a scene. Definately underrated.
Honarable Mentions
Cookie Monster -
COOOOKIEEE! AH NUM NUM NUM!
Lol what's more funny than a cookie eating monster who acts like he's addicted to...ya know, 'stuff'.
They even tried an intervention with him, LOL.
j/k
He's definately a riot. I really like the Monsterpiece Theater skits the most, espicially 39 stairs, one of my memorable favs.
Big Bird -
He has seen A LOT go down on the street - from hurricanes, to weddings, and even the passing of a beloved friend, that's a lot for a six year -old (even a bird in that case) to handle.Whether he's sad, mad, dissapointed, or even cheerful and happy, he's not afraid to express his feelings.
Elmo -
Ummm...he's good OUTSIDE of Sesame Street. That's all...
