Thank you Fragglemuppet. I Love LOVE LOVE that song. I'm waiting until I get the pictures from my dad's house to make a slide show set to the song "Saying Good-Bye". I'll post the link as soon as I finish it. My friends have been amazing with support.
One of my friends wrote this for me. His brother comitted suicide back in September.

The doctors said 2 to 2
I couldnt believe what I heard
I had to get through to you,
I haven't slept in a week, not one wink,
You passed in my hands
All I can do is drink, think, and think
I couldve done somethin else
Maybe be a better son, but this guilt don't help.
I know the angels came took you to better place,
A strangehold has come on to my body and face,
Take care Ill see you soon
I know your lookin down on me from heaven I assume.

I'm so sorry to hear about your Dad, Telly. I pray that he was a believer and I pray that things will start going better for you and your loved ones as well.

AMEN!

I hope you are finding peace with your Dad's passing. It is never easy when we try to come to grips with our own mortality. I know we will find peace when we die. God calls us back home, to be with Him for eternity. But it still doesn't ease the pain of losing a loved one. I've been to more funerals than I can count, and it never gets any easier, except with time.

Maybe the best lesson we can learn is make each day as positive as we can, help one another, love one another, and live each day like it's your last, because one day it will be.

Jim left an incredible legacy when he died. Not just with what he can do with puppets and all that, but making this world a better place. I hope with my efforts and my attitude to be worthy of his ideals.

Wishing you peace in your heart-
The Fuzzy One

My aunt passed away on Monday morning. She'd been battling cancer for three years and it got pretty bad towards the end. I'm glad I don't have to see her suffer any more. We were pretty close. She was the first person in my family that I came out to. I'm really going to miss her. :sympathy:

Anyway! I'm making a video montage with the song "Things That I Remember" and "Saying Good-Bye". I was wondering if you guys could help me with some Muppety (Muppets, Sesame Street, Fraggle Rock, Jim Henson) quotes to put in the montage.

Thanks!

I hope you find peace with both your father & your aunt's passing, Telly. Our prayers are with you and your family. Heck, though many of us never knew him personally, Jim Henson--the Muppet creator--meant so much to all of us that I hope in my heart of hearts that I can be as good a person as he was & hope that he's smiling down on all the generations he's inspired. ^_^

Me personally, I never really thought about my funeral, because I understand that death is a part of life (so to speak) and that my surviving family would do their best to make sure I comfortably rest in peace. As for the songs to be played at my funeral, I would want--besides an "Undertaker"-themed version of the funeral dirge--I would want an instrumental of "When You Wish Upon a Star", "Rainbow Connection", & the instrumental theme heard on the final season of The Wonder Years.

Well there is that song from Fraggle Rock, "It's just a dream away. You've got to leave to stay. We'll meet again someday, just a dream away."

And my condolences to your family!
