One of the latest episodes, “The Washouts” had the character Spitfire go full on Matt Foley from SNL! Coincidentally, I was watching the Matt Foley big on YouTube before the episode came on, so I was laughing for a solid minute when I got the reference!

I don't think MLP:FiM is even a kids' show anymore. It's like they've almost completely shifted their focus towards teenagers and adults (especially bronies and pegasisters), while still being kid-friendly.

Nah, it was definitely the 80's series that was aimed more for kids.
