I feel the slightest bit guilty about pressuring you about tis, though goodness knows I wasn't alone... but I just like it so much... oh, Lisa, I've said it about fifteen times, but I'm so glad you're back!
It probably goes without saying that I loved this whole thing more than cookies with white stuff in the middle.

Ooh, I loved that unspoken understanding of the coincidence! I just love that whole meeting of theirs and the way Piggy picks him out of the crowd, and he sees her on the stage... ah, I'm deliriously happy, which explains the dancing frogs following me around.TogetherAgain said:After Miss Piggy was dismissed from the stage, she coincidently ran into Kermit the Frog and his friends. Of course, he knew as well as she did that coincidence had nothing to do with it. But for the sake of courtesy and their own amusement, they both pretended to be oblivious to that knowledge.
A little harmless flirting won’t hurt, he thought. [/quote
Oh Kermit, if you only knew then what you know now! This is fabulous Lisa, the way you've been using this line throughout the story. It pays off here in an amusing way... but I'll point out the best use of this line later on.
Ha! I love the way Kermit is almost practicing with this flirting business, and the way he's sizing up Piggy... and her reaction to Gonzo! She responded well to that. He made a mental note to himself that a lot of girls seemed to respond well to that.
Ahhh, a weight has been lifted. She shifted her weight as enticingly as she could, which was very enticingly indeed. “Really?”
Oh, pshaw, what's reality got to do with life. I love this line though, so much. It's sorta got connections with the whole sweep you off of your feet thing.Keep your flippers on the ground, Kermit, he reminded himself. There IS something called reality.
Pure gold! Frog doesn't stand a chance anyway. (Sorry, sorry that ushy gushy girl in me got out of her cage. Back! Back! Back to Ru's thread where you can run free!)
Love the instant mood swing, and Kermit seeing all the excitment in her eyes when he accidentally invites her with them. She immediately switched from enticing to heart broken.
Great diction Lisa! (sticks out tongue)It wasn’t quite the reaction he had expected. In fact, it was unimaginably distant from the reaction he had expected. He stood where he was, thoroughly baffled.
~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~A couple of days of knowing eachother and kermit has already won Fozzie's undying loyalty. I love that! (And Kermit's disappointment when Piggy's late getting back)Oh yeah- Kermit’s was in his right hand, because Kermit was always right, and his was in his left hand, because, well, it was the only hand left.
I alway's loved Piggy's quick change there. She must have packed at warp speed. (So, it can be done!) I love the pig in pigails line too.
Dun dun dun!And Miss Piggy came with.
This whole scene is such a fun part of the movie. *hugs self in glee*A road trip was hardly the place for harmless flirting, but it sure felt good to be so complimented by such a beautiful woman, even if she was a pig. “Gee. I- I don’t know what to say.”
Glee, glee, glee, glee. What are you staring at? You're not implying I'm obsessed are you? That's just silly. *eyes dart nervously* Fozzie's reactions during this scene are pricless. He had? He looked at her. “Gee…” He had. And her eyes were gorgeous.
Gonzo, Gonzo... never bother a Siren when she's working. I contine to love Kermit figuring out Piggy.“Terrific!” Gonzo somehow nosed between them. “I’ll eat with you, Miss Piggy.”
“NOT YOU, BUZZARD BEAK!”
Kermit made two quick notes to himself- one, she had a sharp tongue, and two, she was no pushover.
Squee! *Claps hands* Love this so much!He swallowed his breath. Flippers on the ground, Kermit, flippers on the ground! “Well,” he managed to say, “That uh… that uh… That might be nice.” And he sat back as well. Perhaps he would get his harmless flirting, after all.
Love Kermit's fixation with her eyes! And all the small talk, and Piggy's confidence in her career.“Mm-hm,” she said. “And, if moi may say so, I’m almost about to become a star.” She carefully flaunted every good aspect of herself with her body gestures. She had quite a lot of good aspects to flaunt.
But his gaze was fastened to her beautiful blue eyes.
I'm sure I'm missing something here, but I love how you got that bit into the Muppet Pilot. What a great idea.“Oh it’s simple, really,” she said. “The fourth film sold twice as many tickets as the third, and the only difference was moi. Even the script was the same.”
Kermit nodded. “I seem to recall that,” he said. “Hey, what was the fourth one called? Wasn’t it- Return to Beneath the Planet of the Pigs?”
Whoo! Piggy running gag!She gasped. “Really? What an unbelievable coincidence!”
She's good at what she does. Love Kermit's accepting of her coming along and his reactions to her flirting.“So maybe when we get there, you could show me the ropes a little, hm?”
“Maybe.” She leaned in close and whispered to where she guessed his ear was. “Maybe I’ll show you a little more than just ropes.”
Ah, and payoff! Great great use of the harmless flirting to connect together years of Kermit's life... culminating with Piggy actually getting under his skin, like no one else has done since Melinda. As he watched her drink, he realized that, somehow, at some point, a line had been crossed.
This was no longer just harmless flirting.
*Finds self on the floor* Oh, how did I get down here? Wowsers, Lisa...She whimpered. He could smell past her perfume now, to another scent that he realized belonged to her skin itself. His heart was racing, and-
“KERMIT! Kermit-the-Frog!” a voice called.
I like the plot changes here with Hopper interrupting them.
The man had it coming, playing with fire like that. I love the way she smiles at him. Kermit's shocked reaction was perfect, as well as Piggy's nonchalance afterwards. I like that he's impressed with her Karate.“Kermit-the-Frog!” A hand slapped onto Kermit’s shoulder. “You’re coming with me, my little froggy friend,” Doc Hopper said.
“No he isn’t,” miss Piggy said as she stood up.
Doc Hopper gave her an amused smile. “What makes you so sure?”
She smiled sweetly. “This,” she said. “HI-YA!”
Great Piggy line there... and, sigh, everything makes me giggly...She smiled. “Thank you.” She pulled him closer. “How amazing?”
His hand slipped to her elbow, and he almost answered her with a kiss, but-
No! Piggy don't do it! What are you thinking! Oh, I was dreading this! Knew it was coming but still... Piggy, Piggy, Piggy, shame on you. How can you walk out on your frog like that!“It’ll only be an eensy-teensy moment…” With that, she stood up and walked away.
*looks around* Maybe I should stop talking to the pig.
I think you can tell Lisa, by the way I quoted just about everything, that I was moderately pleased with your story.
To quote someone I'm very fond of, MORE PLEASE!!!!!
