Like many here, the only Muppet movies I've ever seen in the theater are Muppet Treasure Island and Muppets From Space. I really wish I could've gotten the chance to see The Muppet Movie in the theaters, though!

I remember seeing the Muppet Movie quite well. I was 5 going on 6. It was a huge deal back then - they had the #1 show, and the movie was so, soooo excellent. As far as a Muppet production goes, I consider it flawless and timeless.

Also, what some of you (who may be younger I guess) may not get - television shows making the jump to the big screen was NOT common back then at all. So it was a real treat!

Yep, the late 70s brought so many awesome movies back then for everyone. Muppets, Star Wars, Superman... also, this was before everyone had a VCR, too!

Awww... *pats* :sympathy: Deepest sympathies and condolences, Sylinde.

(I wish they'd re-screen some of the Muppet movies. I would totally go.)
