I was just wondering: What are your favorite UK Skits from TMS?
My favorites are:

Something's Missing (Rudolph Nureyev)
I've Got a Lovely Bunch of Coconuts (Tony Randall)
Knees Up, Mother Brown (Kenny Rogers)

I said it before, I'll say it again: What are YOUR favorite UK Skits?

I have to go with Veteran's Hospital from the Paul Simon episode. That has always been my favorite sketch on the show and Gonzo as the patient worked very well.

Gonzo: There's nothing wrong with me. I'm just here for laughs.

Piggy: Boy are you in the wrong place.

Also, I want to mention Beaker's rendition of "Feelings" from the Diana Ross episode. That seems like a classic moment. It's hard to believe it hadn't been released in the United States before.

Beau-

Back then, Almos everybody except North America had less commercials. So to fill up that time, they would put one of these skits in to fill in 2 extra minutes...it was usually a british song, or a sketch. My personal Favorite is Any Old Iron (elton john) BTW, Yes these were shown in the states, but only on the Nickelodeon syndication and the Time Life Videos. You can check out my site for a list of UK sites and description.

Some of the UK Skits were released on the Playhouse Videos in 1985 as well.

One of my favorite UK Skits is "Jogging", which is from the Danny Kaye episode.

Yep. "Any Old Iron" was a good one. Here's another one I forgot to mention before. "I'm So Happy" from the Linda Rondstadt episode. It's funny watching those two unhappy guys sing about being happy.
