Really fast on the left handed issue, I have noticed most of the Muppets all played left handed on all instruments. Maybe it had to do with the pup petering and all. Someone brought up that the Palisades Lips figure was wrong because even left Trumpet players play right handed. So I looked at the Best of Collection DVD, and Lips played left handed as well. I think Floyd is one of the rare ones that at times he did play both, but most of the shows that I have reseen have him almost always playing lefty.

Because the Muppets are built for right handed performance.

Most Muppets are left handed because must Muppeteers are right handed. Their right hand in the puppet, leaves ther left hand to take an arm rod (or a sleave/glove), and the left arm is closer and easiest-- thus most muppets are lefty.
