Hello! My name is Hannah Miller.
I am a freelance journalist in San Francisco, working on a story about the cultural impact of Sesame Street.
I am trying to get in touch with people who used to work on the show. Right now I am hoping to interview/talk to people who worked on the show for a while - hopefully for several years. I want to talk to them about how the show has changed. This is for background only; I probably won’t quote them.
Where would be the best place to find ex-SS crew members/production people/writers? If you know anyone, that would be lovely. Or else just point me in the right direction.
Secondly, I am also trying to find ratings data for SS over the years. I want to know how many Americans have watched SS as a child, and how MUCH they watched it. Nielsen doesn't give out this data unless you pay, so I have to find it elsewhere.
That's it for now. Any help would be appreciated!
Thanks!
