hey gang,

AICN has posted pictures of a toy on display at last week's New York Licensing Show of what appears to be an updated design for Oswald the Lucky Rabbit, Walt Disney's original animated anthropomorphic animal, whos's been back home at Disney since Feb 2006!

Yes, Oswald was created before Mickey Mouse.

Actually, Mickey is a mouse version of Oswald! Weird, ain't it?

Aww, why'd they have to change it? I don't care if Oswald WAS created in the 1920's; they should've just left him alone.

Same with Rocky and Bullwinkle when they got redesigned in the 1990's.

I was wondering when this was gonna happen. I knew they'd give him a makeover but sheesh!

Was just thinking last night about scouring eBay for a Disney Pin of Oswald. Hopefully they'll put out classic pins as well as the new version.
