Ohhh, okay, I don't remember him saying that. It's been awhile! When I first heard of the DSOTM/Wizard of Oz connection, it was on the Jagger and Kristi show on my local radio station STAR 100.7. That station is long gone (it's now Jack FM), but this news came up sometime in the mid-nineties, maybe 1995 or so. Jagger told everyone to put the record needle down after the third roar of the MGM Lion at the beginning. My sister and I tried to do it, but couldn't get the record in sync with the movie. I don't know where it originally came from or who thought of it, but it's been around for a long time.
