Hi-
I am an actress in my local Dicken's Christmas Festival. This takes place from Thanksgiving through Christmas. I portray a memeber of the temperance league. I have been racking my brain for a way to incorporate my puppets into Dickens. The show takes place the year before Charles Dicken's, A CHristmas Carol was written. If you have any idea how puppets can be incorporated please write back. THe puppets are hand and rod people used in either bunraku or muppet style. Thank You!

Well, to be true to the period you would probably want to do something Victorian. A Punch and Judy show comes to mind, but there were other forms of puppetry popular in that era in England as well.

Yeah- Thanks,
I looked into that but I guess I wan't very clear. I'm not trying to find a way to do but more or less a umm theme that I could use the puppets for , for Temperance because that's who my character is and so the puppet I operate would have to be involved with it as well. Thank you for your idea though!
