From the script:
KERMIT, still in three piece suit, but his tie is undone. He sits in the center of the room. A gooseneck table lamp is pointing at him and its harsh light bathes KERMIT's face. The MUPPET GANG are either seated or standing around him. They are half-dressed in their costumes. FOZZIE is directly in front of KERMIT.
FOZZIE
So the guy said to him, "Yeah...but I didn't know it was a *Koala* Bear!" He Ha, Wocka, Wocka ... get it? Koala!...
KERMIT
That's very amusing. (starts to stand up) But I really have to go now.
FOZZIE
He doesn't remember.
PIGGY pushes him back down.
PIGGY
Alright. Next!
GONZO enters.
PIGGY
Did you find a doctor?
GONZO
Not exactly, but close.
GONZO pulls MINISTER into doorway.
ROWLF
Hey, he's not that bad off.
MINISTER exits as STATLER and WALDORF enter.
STATLER
Someone said you needed some help.
WALDORF
We came anyway.
They stand in front of KERMIT.
STATLER
He'll remember *us*. You call this an opening night? I've seen better openings in swiss cheese.
WALDORF
Are those your eyes or did you sit too close to a ping-pong game?
KERMIT (starts to get up)
I've got a board meeting in the morning...
PIGGY pushes him back down.
PIGGY
Next!
STATLER and WALDORF exit as RONNIE and JENNY stick their heads in.
JENNY
How is he?
ALL the MUPPETS shake their heads no.
RONNIE
It's time. Dr. Teeth, you've got to start the overture.
DR. TEETH
Let's go.
The BAND exits.
FOZZIE
Oh, what do we do?
GONZO
I don't know. I wish Kermit was here.
FOZZIE (grabs KERMIT and shakes him violently)
Kermit! Please! Come bac to us! We need you!
KERMIT
Look, maybe you do know me, but I really don't remember *you*. I wish I did.
ROWLF
It's no use. We've been trying for hours.
SCOOTER
There's nothing left to do. We have to go on without him.
RONNIE
You'd better take your places.
MUSIC UP.
JENNY
That's the overture.
