He does'nt mean the Green Anything Muppet that was singing "I'm Between" with two Monsters.

Mr. Between was a Lavender AM character from the 90's (I think).

I was thinking of a character with odd front teeth and suspenders who sang a song called "I'm Mr Between" and sang about getting between two potted plants, two pairs of pants, and a duck playing fiddle...etc...He was then trampled by his biggest fan, Mr On-top-of (an elephant.)

Ahh...! Thought that was Jim. And did he do more than just that one song?

Dave was also the Chicken in Elmo in Grouchland, right?

Yes Dave also did the Giant Chicken from Elmo In Grouchland.

The Between character that Jim played also sang the song "Lulu's Back In Town" in the first season of Sesame Street.
