I just found out from my dad over the phone that they’re closing his workplace down tomorrow because a bunch of people have COVID-19.

Honestly NH has been doing a very poor job with this virus. The fact that they even allow resteraunts to be open with the customers not wearing masks says enough

I'm surprised that they haven’t shut down the restaurants already.

Looks like the "oppression" will live on for a while. . . .

On another note, scientists are reminding us that COVID will never disappear from the face of the earth, and at this point, the main objective is to reduce the spread from a pandemic to an endemic, because by then, it will probably be more worse than a common cold . . . that is if enough people in the world are vaccinated, and the vaccine actually works.

Leave it to Fox News to distort this out of proportion; their actual headline: Experts Trying to Make Pandemic Lifestyle Permanent

Do you know what else sucks about the pandemic? Before, it used to be easy to go out in public and talk to people. Even at the store, it was relatively easy to walk up to people and smile, and say hello. And even in places like Noo Joisey and Noo Yawk, you could start a conversation with total strangers. It’s human nature.
Now many people are afraid to talk to anyone. Keep your distance, but don’t say hello. That’s a crying shame.

I get we need to keep our distance but just talking with masks on isn’t going to spread the virus.
