It's being reported that China has actually convicted and jailed eight whistleblowers who were reporting about the virus in Wuhan during the early stages of the pandemic.

"Whistleblowers"? What does that mean? And why are they being jailed for reporting about the virus? Does this mean Trump, Republicans, and all of those crazy conspiracy theorists were actually right all along about China creating this virus to infect the world in some kind of act of biological/germ warfare after all?

I'll repeat what I said before.

Yes the virus has mutated to something more transmittable. All viruses do. The mutated virus is no more dangerous than the original virus though and the vaccines will work against the mutated virus as well. Perhaps in a few years it will mutate to the point that the current vaccines don't work but then we tweak the vaccine. Just like we do with the flu vaccine. The sky isn't falling Chicken Little
