Hi, I'm a music/composition major currently attending a university and I was wondering if anyone knew the name of the person who composed the "Elmo's Song" that was used in Sesame Street.
I'm currently writing a piece and I decided to quote the material used in that song. It's less than 3 seconds long and not really all that perceptable so I don't think there would be any legal problems...but I thought it would be appropriate to give credit for the source of inspiration.
I've looked around a little bit but all I've gotten that it was written by Elmo so far!
