I remember when READING RAINBOW had a segment about CURTIS; our paper didn't pick it up till years later. Like 2008 or so.

Really? Wow...
Then again, I only started reading the funny pages in 2009, so there's no telling when my paper picked it up. Apparently it's been around since the 80's.

Sometimes our paper is inconsistent with comics, I think they base it on regional popularity; I remember for a couple of years in the early 2000s, they ran SHERMAN'S LAGOON, but then they just dropped it, though I think it's still around, isn't it?

Then of course there was that MR. POTATO HEAD comic that I believe was a collaboration between Jim Davis and one of the creators of ZITS.

The more I think about it, I think maybe BALDO might make a pretty good animated series as well; it's a nice depiction of a Latin-American family, the characters are appealing, the writing is solid, I think it would work well.

I think Mythtickle would make a great animated series. Lots of regular funny characters who could really use some voices.

Was there ever a Marvin animated series? I wouldn't mind that one. I used to love to read those.

There was a TV special in the late 80's. It was okay I guess.

Can somebody refresh my memory on MARVIN? I don't believe it runs in my paper, but it does sound vaguely familiar...

Comic book and special... essentially Garfield as a human Baby. Even looked like him.
