Well, when the time came, I think I would have said something along the lines of "Get your clipboard out, Dr. Byron Guidance Councelor is comin' through!" And I'm sure even though you'd be afraid and confused, some how in the end I'd get a letter, which out instantly be disregarded by the CA.

Well, I'm one of the wanderers who can't really figure out what I want to do. I went to college for theatre eduationat the University of North Carolina at Charlotte... tried the teaching thing and decided I had wasted my time getting a teaching degree. Now 3 years later I am back at the University of Central Florida getting 2 degrees in Advertising/Public Relations and Television Production. One of these days I will actually figure out what I want to be when I grow up! (At least I hope I will.) =)

I'm a post graduate student at the university of Salford England.. i'm doing a masters in Heritage Studies so go to loads of museums for field trips!! Our campus library has computer magazines, Vogue etc in the periodical section as it also does strange things like tv and radio.

I did my first degree in history at Stirling University in Scotland.

My boyfriend has been in education for about 22 years now and been at uni for 8

My major was/is (since I'm 1 class shy of my degree) Sociology, with a minor in English and Psychology. I'm only lacking a few classes in both my minors to bump them up to majors, so I might attempt that in the near future as well, but the brain science part of my Psy classes are not my cup of tea. Neither is my practicum for Sociology (which I've been putting off forever now)

The weird thing is that while I studied in those areas, I was more into Theater and Journalism. I worked in the Student Media department for years and years, for both the TV station and the Radio Station. I also got quite heavily involved with theater.

I never hung out with the folks from my major, but rather the media and theater kids. And now my career is centering around my passions, and not my schooling. Go fig.

I'm a senior in college at Penn State Behrend, graduating this spring with a degree in English -- lots and lots of reading and writing. We got to read "Harry Potter" in one of my classes - children's lit. I also had a pop culture class where we listened to "American Pie" and watched "The Graduate" - fun stuff! A lot of it is pretty dry, though, and definitely time consuming. I don't know what I'm going to do with myself when I don't have all this homework! Besides getting that elusive full-time job, that is...

LOL! Jackie, there are quite a few immigrants who attend there, and in their "I work or go to school at" field on their Change of Address forms, ones who go there almost always put,

"Rutgers, the state university of New Jersey"

LOL!!

You wouldn't believe how many immigrants are in NJ!! Sure, there are tons in CA and FL and NY, but Jersey?! Lol! I'll have to count how many of 'em I go through at work each night! :stick_out_tongue:

I am an international business and entrepreneurship major at Ball State University in Indiana. I have gone through at lest 2 different major plans. I was originally a Music Engineering Major and then a Human Resources Management Major.

My mom doesn't even try to keep up with my future plans anymore. Now she just tells people I am a business major and we leave it at that.
