Jim did not fall ill until late April or early May 1990...the episode aired in January of 1990. I restate, most of the main puppeteers were working on either M@WDW or MV3D at the time.

anyway.. I know Richard Hunt did play a bunch of the characters. I know he played Statler, but he also played Boppiy and the sandwich which was disagreeing with him. There was someone else, but I can't remember.

But Dave Golez seemed to be in it alot, as Gonzo and Digit!

What's weird (and cool) about this episode is that the Muppets seem to be largely a mix of obscure Season 1 TMS characters and JHH characters. You never saw that combination anywhere else. Also, it's the only time you hear Kevin Clash voice a lot of those TMS characters.

BTW, there was one other appearance by Digit outside of JHH and this episode. He's in the background helping Beaker and Bunsen while Waldo shows up in MuppetVision 3-D.
