The original just sticks out with me for the harmony and pacing and those effects were great for its time, but I do like how the remake has more muppets.

Yeah, that episode was my first exposure to that song (the other two airings being syndications of 3485). I specifically remember it coming after the paper crumpling N segment with the N for nose cartoon following afterwards. The episode itself is a great one none the less, and I instantly remembered the street scenes when I first saw them on YouTube in 2011 (I believe).

Personally, I think Wayne Brady did it better.
The original just sticks out with me for the harmony and pacing and those effects were great for its time, but I do like how the remake has more muppets.
I think both are good in their own way; I'll agree Jeff Redd's version has some really great vocals and such, but I do really like how Wayne Brady's version incorporated so many different Muppet characters as part of the song.
