Guess what? I just finished uploading the rare "Big Bird's Birthday, or Let Me Eat Cake" 1991 TV special on YouTube!

Part 1 - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dkRrvFgzXQA
Part 2 - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kEBJ0oJHh0I
Part 3 - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yXzpJeM3ETI
Part 4 - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jj0YzHR1oco
Part 5 - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6xHsY6GftAs
Part 6 - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aZqKUiGO3gk

Now, before people start to complain or anything let me explain the reason behind the CRAPPY quality: this was taken from a very, very, very, very, VERY OLD tape (and a worn out tape at that, lol), not to mention the fact that this IS from PBS, and you know you never get the best reception in the world from PBS, and lastly, when I transfer something from a tape to a DVD, because of copyright protection thingy, some of the quality is distorted, so that didn't help at all.

But hey, this is better than nothing, right? Enjoy!

"Big Bird's Birthday, or Let Me Eat Cake" 1991 TV special!
Wow, I haven't seen that in years! I remember when it premiered, I hadn't watched Sesame Street in awhile. But since it was billed as such an event, I had to see it. My classmates laughed at me a little, but they didn't mind too much. Lol :insatiable:

Notice Forgetful Jones' brief cameos? This was probably one of the last projects Richard worked on.

My favorites parts are Monster in the Mirror (of course lol), Robin Williams and all the Central Park sequences.

I do have to say, looking back I thought a couple of the songs were a little on the corny side, compared to earlier SS material, hehe. But overall very good. :wisdom:

Interesting how Big Bird doesn't know what a birthday is. Has he really gone THAT long without getting a year older? Hehe
