I gotta be honest, I really don't think kids would've thought it was Caroll, because I'm sure most kids probably don't think of the characters in terms of who performs them like more serious fans do. And even so, so what if Blue Bird sounded a little like Caroll? I mean, this is a character of Big Bird's imagination, it'd make sense.
