I think it's the skit where Ernie has ice cubes but then they melt and he, being ignorant of that concept, thinks someone stole them. Bert explains that ice melts. But then it concludes with Ernie saying someone melted his ice cubes. I think he blames a fish for some reason (perhaps because the cubes are now water and fish swim in water?) and says he's going to tear him fin from fin. Bert just sighs and says, "Go get'em, Ernie." You can kind of read the lips of Ernie and Bert saying lines like "They melt" and "Go get'em Ernie" in this skit. Pretty interesting concept there, reading muppets' lips!

And yes, it looks like this skit is from either 1969 or 1970.

Buuuttttt, it's in Hebrew. Can anyone figure out what this Ernie and Bert sketch is about? It looks like it's from 1969 or so! :stick_out_tongue: :frown:
I watched it without the sound to see if I could recognize it, but it does not look familiar at all. It's definitley early 70's for sure.

Whoops, didn't see this when I posted earlier. But that does sound familiar now that you describe it.

Well, I won't be able to hear it anyway, because the sounds not working on my computer, so I'll take a look. I probably won't be anymore clueless than anyone else. Lol.

I wasn't clueless on it. I said I think it is the skit where Ernie has ice cubes and they melt. In fact, I'm almost positive it is this one, since there is a box and that's where Ernie had the cubes. And as I said, you can really tell Bert says, "They melt" , and then at the end, "Go get em' Ernie."
Another note about this skit: At the beginning as Bert is walking by (before he notices Ernie and the box) it looks like he is singing something. If memory serves me correctly, I think Bert was singing, "Sunny days sweeping the clouds..." and then stops there upon noticing Ernie.

Does anyone have that one song with Olivia, Big Bird, Maria and Oscar all taking a shower? I would love to see that one on there. It's been one of my favorites of all.

I'd love to see the video clip itself- I very clearly remember the "Singing in the Shower" song from when I was a kid. I don't have the video, but I do have the next best thing. I have a MP3 of the song!
