Christmas: Are they shoving it down our throats too early?

Winter isn't even bleak and depressing; summer is.

So, Jim Gaffigan is calling for Christmas to be moved to the middle of summer, because winter is too bleak and depressing of a time of year for a holiday that's supposed to bring cheer and merriness.

Thats kinda the reason Christmas is in the winter...

If anything we need to move it to the end of january or feb. Jan and Feb are the bleakest months. No real holidays except Valentine's Day which can itself be depressing if you are single. At least Christmas and new years can be shared with friends.

I mean, he usnt really trying ti make it a thing. He is a comedian. Its not really a funny joke though. Its one of those jokes where the idea seems like it ought to be funny, but its not.
