Who is Chopped Liver and what is his purpose? (sorta like
Gundam Wing's Dorothy.) I really think he's wierd because
the Kermitage describes him as "a piece of crap with glasses
and a mouth" Is he really that? Or just a lump of food with
green bean arms? He actually looks like a hunk of chopped
brown foam with gardening hose arms.

From the maker of the Kermitage list...

Chopped Liver was originally built as an alien for a Pigs in Space sketch, and appeared in other acts with other strange creatures.

Joggy, do they really call him a piece of crap as Kermitage states? I've never seen the sketch, so I don't know.

No, they only refer to him as "chopped liver" and "hideous."

To which he replies: "Sure. For ninety cents a pound, you want beautiful?"

Maybe it was less or more money though. Whatever. Blah. It IS hideous.

It seems that there is a quote where Jim Henson or someone else described him as a 'piece of crap.'

Otherwise, the question:

So where does the "crap" come from?
leaves me biting my tongue!!!

:embarrassed:
