Yes, I would have loved to see John Ritter guest star in an episode. It seems they tried to correct their error by having him appear in The Fantastic Miss Piggy Show, but it was just not the same. Suzanne Somers, Richard Kline, or Joyce DeWitt would have fit in perfectly as well.

Outside of Three's Company, it would have been neat to see '70s-era Michael Jackson in an episode. He was already in a Sesame Street Christmas special.

And the biggest missed opportunity is the fact that Richard Pryor was unable to make it to his taping, that might have been one of the greatest episodes. At least he made a cameo in The Muppet Movie.

Since making this acc like four hours ago, about 62% of my posts have been about the MCR x The Muppet Show finfics I wrote when I was a baby, so I think it's safe to say I would've loved to see my favorite eyeliner-wearing, bisexual vampires performing like, 'Tomorrow' or sum shi. Still would tbh.

since rereading this thread, I now know we are going for realistic. It would have been KILLER to see Laura Jane Grace, or Joan Jett (will not be spouting the leads of all my favorite bands who were active at that time. We'd be here for ages.) (also, yes I know Joan Jett was on The Muppets BUT OH MY GOD ITS NOT THE SAME)
