That is weird considering that Zoot had more lines in this movie than in any other muppet movie (and many of his lines were actually full sentences). it is also weird because Lips spoke one of his few lines in this scene (his other lines in the movie were spoken when the gang at the happiness hotel pick up kermit and Miss Piggy, but he didn't appear on-screen when he said his other lines).
Zoot wasn't asleep, because they show him saying "everybody" with Dr. Teeth, and Lips saying "and me" in the movie is the only time I've ever heard his voice. (also Statler and Waldorf didn't say and me, but they weren't with the Happiness Hotel gang, even though they were parachuting)
I never noticed this! How strange. I wonder why this happened. Even Sam said it and Rizzo (while hanging onto Beau). Poor Zoot. I agree though that he did have some awesome lines in this film. One of my favs was:
Fozzie: Wax lips?
Zoot: Man, I just had 'em.
Teeth: Did you leave them in your other pants?
Zoot: I don't have no other pants.

When the happiness Hotel gang goes to pick up kermit and Miss Piggy, we briefly hear a voice that sounds like a Steve Whitmire character saying "Ding Ding!", and as they leave, we hear Lips saying, "lets hit the road! how 'bout a little traveling music?". He didn't appear on-screen when he said either line.
the only other time that I know of where lips spoke was in the shirley bassey episode of the muppet show, where he sang a line in Boogie In The barnyard. I hope that song doesn't get cut from the fifth season DVD release.
