Oh man, that was a delightful blaze of meta glory. The Titans, worried about their universe literally vanishing, go into the real world where they meet the TTG cast and crew, and even their own voice actors. Loved how Tara Strong did brief Bubbles, Timmy Turner, and (Twilight) Sparkleface impressions to Raven's delight. Also loved WB Animation president Sam Register appearing (as himself) as a Wizard of Oz-esque giant head. And there was even a blink-and-you'll-miss background drawing of the Titans drawn in the style of Steven Universe!

In part 2, we got to see the Titans confront Aaron Horvath and Michael Jellyneck to convince them to make more episodes, which had burned them out creatively. And so they decide to make an episode themselves, which is sloppily animated and full of farts. Symbolism?

Going by the somewhat frustrated tone of this episode, could it be hinting at the 4th season being the last, with the movie slated next year as the finale?

And now we have Beast Boy meeting and befriending a Rule 63 version of herself voiced by Cree Summer, which had some genuinely heartwarming moments. Madame Rouge from the original series was even the villain of the day.

Later on, the Opposite Gender Titans (whom Beast Girl is a member of) come to save them when Rouge captures them. Kinda dropped the ball by not making R63 Robin look like Stephanie Brown, but considering what we do have, I'll take what I can get.

One of the newest episodes had Robin take the other Titans on a tour of Wayne Manor, which referenced quite a bit of stuff from the Batman mythology. It even referenced moments from the movies, with the props from Batman Forever and Batman & Robin (including the nipple Batsuit and Bat Credit Cards) thrown in a dumpster.

Robin's terrible treatment at the hands of Batman may have been a subtle reference to the Frank Miller comic. Should have included a bit about eating a rat to really drive it home.
