Oh man, that was a delightful blaze of meta glory. The Titans, worried about their universe literally vanishing, go into the real world where they meet the TTG cast and crew, and even their own voice actors. Loved how Tara Strong did brief Bubbles, Timmy Turner, and (Twilight) Sparkleface impressions to Raven's delight. Also loved WB Animation president Sam Register appearing (as himself) as a Wizard of Oz-esque giant head. And there was even a blink-and-you'll-miss background drawing of the Titans drawn in the style of Steven Universe!
In part 2, we got to see the Titans confront Aaron Horvath and Michael Jellyneck to convince them to make more episodes, which had burned them out creatively. And so they decide to make an episode themselves, which is sloppily animated and full of farts. Symbolism?
Going by the somewhat frustrated tone of this episode, could it be hinting at the 4th season being the last, with the movie slated next year as the finale?
