Now, the name of this thread is misleading; I don't encourage alcohol and don't plan to.

That being said, this thread kinda relates to alcohol. In TMM, the Kermit line "I'll have a grasshopper" was removed, as it relates to an alcoholic beverage. Now, if the 'grasshopper' line (which would have been lost on all the kids watching the film) was removed, why is Rowlf's decidedly more direct line about "drink a couple of beers" kept in?

Yes and in that same scene, Kermit and Miss Piggy are drinking champaign. They are also drinking wine in The Great Muppet Caper's dancing club scene. "Ya know, if you put enough sugar in this stuff it tastes just like ginger ale." One of my favorite lines in any Muppet film!! :embarrassed:

Rowlf states somewhere else in either another film or TMS episode or somewhere about drinking a beer, I just don't remeber where. I wonder if Rowlf is a Michelob dog... :sympathy:
