How do you make the background transparent?????

You can do it with LView, which is how I used to do it before I taught myself how to use Photoshop. Only GIFs can have transparent backgrounds. With LView, you can do it with the eyedropper tool in the palette entry and make the color you selected 255 in the Reds, Greens and Blues. If you can get your hands on Photoshop, that's the better way to do it of course. Plus I'm sure there are plenty of other programs that will make transparent bgs (like FrontPage for example), but I'm pretty much stuck on PS, so can't recommend much else.
