Ever see Gatchaman?
1972 series famous for its violence and gory death scenes.

1978 it was dubbed in English, toned down, made totally kid friendly, and released with a huge merchandising blitz as "Battle of the Planets".
Redubbed in English again as "G-Force".

Oh yes for sure! That was years ago I've seen it. I stopped watching it because some episodes scared me. I got nightmares for days. I had to say 3 Our Father, 10 Hail Mary and 15 Glory Be for a whole week straight.
