No Vet's Hospital in 2003 eh......

Don't suppose you'd be willing to drop hints about what may replace it?

I'll just assume it's Foo-Foo's doghouse, which we've never seen, but I like assuming and making an ***** out of you and me. Especially me.

Can't wait for series 2 Can't wait for series 2 Can't wait for series 2.....

I'm going to the toy store again today. Just to check.

Nothing is replacing Vet's Hospital for 2003. It was never scheduled for 2003 to begin with and therefore never really existed TO be replaced. The playsets for 2003 you already know though...Swedish Kitchen, SwineTrek, EM Bus and Planet Koozebane. The playset for Series 7, which right now is in a flux state of whether it will be late 2003 or early 2004, has not been officially decided upon yet, although I can tell you that there is a list of about 5 or so ideas that we are currently debating for that slot. Hispaniola Playset, Backstage Playset, Vet's Hospital Playset, Bear on Patrol Playset, Happiness Hotel Playset and The Muppet Show Stage Playset (which would no longer house the other playsets into it, but would have other show type features). Couple other ideas we were kicking around too but nothing will be solid really until after March I suspect.

Intriguing....my personal vote for the Series 7 set would be either the Muppet Show Stage or the Happiness Hotel. The stage would probably sell better to casual fans and fans alike, where the others seem more like "niches" for fans to either go for or not go for.

Lookin' good....

Depends on who gets packed in also, though, wouldn't you agree? Backstage could have regular Sam, Hotel could have regular Rowlf...not saying that's likely, but I think that whoever gets packed in with a playset is compelling for how to market it.

i'd go for Vets Hospital, even though i really want the Hispaniola with Captain Smollet i think Vets Hospital would be better.

You'd have all the Muppet Show Sketches playsets out (the backstage & Thearter could always be an exclusive) and then Palisades would be free to do movie stuff.

Although is Palisades went the same directions as they went with PIS where they released all the characters in one series we'd have a very little gap between Janice from series 5 and Janice in series 7 but still lots, if not all fans won't mind. That way Dr.Bob could be realesed with the playset seeing as how Janice & Piggy already have one and it would keep fans still anticipating naked Rowlf.

But the Hispaniola would be great, with Statlre and Waldorf carved in the front, you could place Sam Arrow at the front with his telescope, Captaion Smollet by the (What was the steering wheel thing called? i've forgotten) and then I'd wait patiently for Miss Piggy as Benjammina Gunn with pack-in Ant Eater (Is she's made)

although the happiness hotel does sound fun, who would have imagined whilst seeing TGMC so long ago that eventually a HH Playset would be released.

I agree with Warrick - i think Backstage would be very cool and first choice, especially if it could have a stage door exterior too. It could also be a great appetiser for the Theatre. I'd like to see Happiness Hotel if some really zany design and special moving features could be put into it. Hispanola sounds good but not quite sure you could do it justice with a regular playset - you'd need something really detailed so it'd have to be deluxe.

Maybe the stage could come with Mahna Mahna and the Snowths? Or has Sweetums now been moved back into the stage playset in your tentative plans?

i think it's going to come down to what's put at that time.

for example, we know Sam Arrow will be in series 4. so when will we see another MTI figure? will we get a Captain Smollet? Fozzie and Mr. Bimbo? Gonzo and Rizzo maybe? personally, i'd love to see a Clueless Morgan. the point is, if none of those have come out yet, then why bother with a playset. there's nothing to use it with but Sam, and whoever it comes with. That works for Muppet Labs, but not the bridge of the ship. you want to be able to interact with it, and you want figures that fit with it.

even Muppet Labs has some variety...you have Bunsen, and then 2 different Beakers (3 for some) that can enact various mishaps. i'd love to see a Beaker w/light up eyes and "blow off" hair, an "exploded" Beaker, and especially a "bonkable" Beaker with a head that lowers into the body. i've wanted that since i HEARD about the Muppet toys.

the point is that they're playsets...you need to have things to interact with them, or you're not playing.
