You guys are into Abfab ? LOL - i never knew it was popular in the states. I guess thats why they are trying to get Saunders and Lumley to do a lot more. Wierd this - but when i was working as a trainee in light entertainment development at the BBC around about 1998 time i assisted Geoffry Perkins on the show, who is one of the senior producers and head of comedy. It was pretty cool - anything by Jennifer Saunders and Dawn French (her other comedy partner) gets the top treatment and all the best writers and things there.

French and Saunders are kinda big over here to a limited group of people. I wanted to see them live while I was in London last year, but it was sold out. I have their DVDs, and the AbFab series. Thats why Patsy is my avatar.

Ab Fab has had a cult following in the US since 1995 and helped put Comedy Central on the map. It is especially popular in San Francisco, though it hit its peak in 98.

I think they have had Mr Bean specials on Comedy Central, but some of his shows would sure beat the usual Saturday Night Live reruns. They have made me so tired of that show.

I miss Ken too, there are many times this weekend i've come to 'Ask Ken' but Ken isn't there and there has been this feeling of emptiness - i may well have to report him to the X-Files as missing if he isn't back soon :-

COME BACK KEN !!!!!!!!!

It's like cold turkey. We are invaded by his witty banter and action figure related chit chat when he is engineering his master plan and then all of a sudden once he has a successful action figure line he ups and leaves us for the weekend - it's just like that guy on 'The West Wing'.

Y'know if this happens in future we're gonna have to hire an Actor to play Ken while he is away and he can overdub Ken's lines but really rough, like an American translation of an anime movie !

Poor Ken, he'll have so many posts to look through on here, heh
How this thread turned into offbeat English comedy shows is anyone's guess.
