There will be plenty of Koozbane Kermits. Nobody has to worry. With a little patience we will all get one.

Jamie, according to that logic we will also have a new Muppet show, a Muppet theatre playset, Muppetfest 2, and flying cars:wink:

It's not the same thing. Ken has informed us that Target will get two waves worth of Kermits. There will be plenty around. There is no need to worry about missing out. We know they've been shipped. There's a little bit of time we have to wait. That's how it goes with major retailers and I for one am happy Target picked up the figures.

Three waves actually, and yeah i completely agree Jamie, people are way too impatient nowdays. The wait is a good part of the anticipation and good for the marketing of the line. It also means all those who haven't had the chance to pick up Series 4 in comic shops and things will have an easy chance to get them later on.

Luke's right. These are really two different markets. We've waited decades for cool toys like these, what's another month or two. It doesn't mean that Target doesn't respect the figures. It just means they have a way of doing things that works for them.

Which is hawking out generally un receptive toys that end up in the discount bins at most retailers. My thign is this...they aint in the factories, they are here...they are spose to be out this month, I cannot join in the all smiles approach with a two month delay.

Otherwise...hey, Muppetfest 2 is almost here, as is series 10! woo hoo! ^)^

I don't know. I think you both have a valid point. I mean, I'm not worried about getting kermit and heck, I can even wait for him a bit. thats' cool, whatever, fine. I've got my regular series 4 figs to tide me over through summer. but at the same time, if you look at it just in terms of Series 4 alone, target is kind of shooting themsleves in the foot. they're holding off 2-3 months to put out a product that's already on the shelves in other stores. Hlding off on a prouct they have in their warehouse. Now I can understnad with a storenot exactly a specialty store like Media Play or EB or even TRU, theneed ot only reset their shelves only at a certina time, but I think it's a little ludicrous to wait as long. Now I'm a failry patient person. I can wait the 2-3 months to get Kermit. And I can wait until Sept to see series 5 and I can wait until Dec. to get S6. And if for osme reason they're late, well then hey, they're late. BUT if I see Link Hogthrob at my local Suncoast and I have $10 on my and I do want him...I don't think my reaction will be "Oh I'd like to get him for my collection, but gosh it wold be so much better if I got him at target at the end of the summer." You see what I'm saying.

In closgin, I also want to say, I'm not a Target employee. I don't know what exactly goes in to resttgin stock or anything like that. I don't know what process target had when it comes to shipping/receiving or setting out. I don't know the kindo f man power involved in sometihgn like that. So without that understanding maybe it makes my argument a little moot.
Anyway, that's my 2 cents.

These are not CD releases, they are action figures. There are never any solid dates. Places in Europe often get this stuff before we do. Target should get things going, but that's how such big stores work and it's good the Muppet figures have found their way into the mainstream marketplace. Being impatient is not going to accomplish anything. They are released when they are released. It would be great if they'd put them out asap, but I can wait.
