Super Scooter, that's a whole different thing...and it's not really indicative of the holiday. I might celebrate Christmas by carving question marks into the glass of photocopiers, and get all my friends to do the same, but that doesn't mean that it becomes the origin of christmas.

not that I would do that, but see what I mean?

I'm not saying demons were the start of halloween! (I bleieve they were, but Zack says it wasn't, so...) I'm just saying, the whole holiday revolves around demons nowadays! Haven't you ever walked into a store and looked at all the decorations they sell for Halloween? They're all ghosts and goblins and demons and such. I'm sorry if I have offended anyone in what I'm saying. I hope this post ends the arguement, with no specific winner of it. We all believe different things about it, and we're going to get nowhere fast arguing about it. So, let's return this back to what the thread's supposed to be about. I happened to like IAVMMCM, although I think it could have been done wihtout the Christmas bit, since that's not what the story was about.

Sorry. Let's end this.

Holiday manipulation

The twisting of cellebrations was actually founded by the Catholic church long before disturbed Goth kids decided to start torturing pets on Halloween:

Sorry, but it's just the way History looks at it.

Sorry, but I started this at the same time you sent your last post. I don't want to fight, but I just get aggrivated by one sided revisionist sounding arguments.

The page didn't pop up for me, but notice the words used: "twisting; manipulation; pagan." If this isn't what you meant, Hairfarmer, I apologize for twisting your words. I just want to get this whole bit over with.

Yikes! If I'm twisting your words, I'm just as bad as the church!

The whole twisting of the celebrations was something I already knew about. I didn't know if I should bring it up or not though.

I'm sorry, I just keep rambling on. I'll try to shut up about this now.

Ooops! Sorry! Didn't see your edit. I'm sorry to upset you about this. I'm upsetting myself. I am very sorry.

If you can't remember when you ordered it, then it's been in there too long.

If it has a rainbow hue, or green fuzzy coating, then it's been in there too long.

If it can get up and walk around by itself, then it's been in there too long!
