ooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo...now THERE is a license Palisades should try and pick up. i think i know someone with access, if anyone's interested...

it might be difficult though...likeness rights and all, but the fact that these people are (unfortunately) largely unknown outside of MST3K might make things cheaper.

the downside to that is that they're not largely known outside of MST3K...and it's fans (which while vocal, it's hard to guage how many there really are). still, if marketed correctly...they could make a company LIKE Palisades a LOT of money...though Joel might not go for it, he doesn't seem like the type...Nelson'd do it though...

what do you say, Ken (since this IS the "ask Ken" thread), in your professional opinion, is there ANY chance? there are some of us here (Matt, GWGumby, me) that could send you reference material. i might even be able to get you copies of the bots!

Trust me - it's not a good idea to go revealing 'secret identities'as Josh around here - that name is enough to send shivers up most of the longtime members spines.

My personal opinion, no offense, is that it would be a really hard sell...

Nah - my names really Dave and i'm an alcaholic with a fetish for rubber ducks. The whole Luke thing is just my other personality.

Josh was this kid who came onto the old Muppet Central forum and said he was going to make his own Fraggle Rock puppet show with professional Fraggle puppets, screen Fraggle and ALF episodes over the internet on his own TV network, and showed us pictures of what he said were his Fraggle puppets, yet they were old pictures taken at a museum exhibiting real Fraggle puppets, the glass reflections were the big giveaway there. He got himself banned a lot but kept coming back under secret identities. Actually he was a very nice person once you got to know him and he got older and relaxed a bit.
