Tux Ties

Ken,

You mentioned all of the figures would have the classic white bow ties when they are all gussied up in their tuxedos.
I would like to suggest, when and if Fozzie gets a tux you keep his classic tie on him. I have seen him un a tux, no hat, but the same white tie with red polka dots. It's a riot, and fits the customer well.

Have fun in SD.

just have to say I was really looking forward to getting the Tux Rowlf so glad that you are coming out with him.anyway I was wondering if you might ever come out with an at The dance playset,I dont if this makes sense but that would go great with Tux muppets and if the very few females had ball gowns.

I'm very, very happy to hear that you're holding over the big guns until later! Playmates didn't do that with WOS, and now we're getting waves made up of characters that casual viewers have never heard of. (Freddy Quimby and Mrs. Botz?!? What the...!)

Two questions, which you can feel free to ignore if these are still top-secret...

1. With Superhero Scooter in Series 4, can you tell us if Series 3 will have exclusives? If so, when can we expect to hear what they are?

2. You said two of the heavy-hitters in the next couple waves would be pushed back... we'll still be getting Statler and Waldorf in one series, right?

And one not so top-secret question...

3. I sent payment for Club Membership yesterday, and on my Paypal account it says "Transaction Completed". Can I assume that Palisades has my registration info and payment and such, or will I receive an E-Mail to confirm it?

A fine job you're doing, and thank you for typing out that EXCRUCIANTINGLY long reply to all of our comments.

No exclusives in Series 3. Series 4 will only have one, the Superhero Scooter. The Animal will pop up somehere around, oh, I don't know...MuppetFest probably. Then comes summer...and oh MAN there are three frikkin' good ones planned for the three summer shows. Sorry don't mean to tease but I am excited about them in a big way.

2. You said two of the heavy-hitters in the next couple waves would be pushed back... we'll still be getting Statler and Waldorf in one series, right?

Yeah, but I was referring more to the standard versus costumed character versions.

No e-mail confirmation is coming to you. You're covered. You can assume that your Paypal receipt is your confirmation.

Thank Heavens for the collector's club is all I have to say about that. If you haven't joined yet, that should be everyone's incentive right there.

To Ken and uncleduke

Uncleduke- actually on the Phyllis George episode Fozzie was in a tux and had a bow tie with black polka dots. I think this would work well for a fig.

Ken- did you get my previous post (on page 160 I believe) suggesting a skull for Uncle Deadly and asking if Floyd's mustache ever got that trim?

Sorry. These were taken in the painters studio, and I was so exited to get them up (I got them in the morning, we originally were not going to have painted pics) that I didn't really look at anything other than the kitchen, like the surrounding debris. So I went in after I saw a post on it and removed them from the image. This was not cowardice. This was an attempt to not have a pack of cigarettes in an image promoting the Muppets.
Yeehaw! Forget my comic retailer and the kitchen picture I printed off for him. Ebay here I come! "Super Rare Very Hard to Find Hot Out of Print Discontinued Swedish Chef Marlboro Kitchen prototype picture"!

Wow, very commendable of you to have taken the time to alter the photo, Ken. I mean, I was just making a joke about it, but it's commendable of you none the less to make sure that the smokes in the picture wouldn't reflect on the line in any way.

Now, having said that, if I wasn't so tired, as a joke I'd go alter all the series three fig pictures and add smokes in their mouths and Marlboro packs in their hands (Marlboro Lights for Scooter since he's just a youngun of course). "Mmmmmmmmn...... Come to where the flavor is. Come to Muppet Country".

Ken,
Sorry to be asking more questions but I just can't help myself!

1. I only ordered 1 VC Beaker with my collector's club order, as I didn't have the $$ at the time for a second. Now I do, and would like to know if it would be possible for me to do this if I paid with PayPal or anything. I figured it wouldn't hurt to ask.

2. What color IS WW Exclusive Dr. Teeth's keyboard?! Mine looks purple to me, but every once in a while I will see one on a website or on eBay and the keyboard looks BRIGHT PINK! Can you shed any light on this? Am I crazy?

And that's all I have to hound you with for now. But I would like to say thanx for being such a crescent fresh toy maker, and actually caring about the muppet fans and listening/talking to them. There isn't a lot of ppl who would be willing to do that. So I just can't give you enough props on how kool you are to all these muppet fans. I think it's great.
