gorry, a word of advice. You know that EB doesn't charge you until the figures ship. So to ensure that you get them, I'd order all of the series 2 stuff at once, and then pay off your mom as you get the money.

>>>I just realized something. You're going to release Crazy Harry in September, about a year after the "You know what" happened. <<<

Enron's collapse?

>>>He's coming with multiple explosives and, let's face it, Harry looks (kinda) like a terrorist. <<<

What, you didnt know Crazy Harry used to be known as
Crazy mujir-al Donald when he was in a Mujahadeen training camp? Puhlease...he does not look like a terrorist. I dont think this is 'reaching', but I think Lew Zealand's deadly boomerang fish would cause more of a fervor. To change series 2 or shipments would be to cave into projected hysteria. And sadly, one person is all it took to remove in 1999 both 'do you make me...?' Austin Powers and 'handy' Tarzan.

>>>and this might cause the figure to be pulled from shops. Yeah, it seems like a stretch, but with everyone's over sensitivity, and psuedo-patriotism, it might happen. <<<

Hey, i'm up for paying $75 for Crazy Harry on ebay:wink: not!

Oh sure people, like Series 2 will ship on time anyway ... it's much more fun watching you people squirm and wait.

Besides i need time talk to Ken about the highly advanced new ALF figure line that Palisades are about to announce.

The Crazy Harry Terrorist thing is not really my opinion. It's the opinion of hundreds of oversensitive idiots. Remember how I mentioned the Starbuck posters? And let's not forget how we deleted all references to the Twin Towers (they got rid of one of my Favorite Simpson Episodes that way!) I could care less about Crazy Harry's apperance and message to those Non-Muppet fans. Us Die Hards know who he is. We all want to grab him. I'm just pointing out a worst case scenario. But Beaker, once again you continue to make me laugh. That's a compliment. I completely forgot about Tarzan. At least it had more buzz than his actual film...ZING!!!

But is Ken (or Palisades) really thinking of an ALF line? Will it be the whole family? WIll Willy come with a certain illegal substance as an accessory? Hah Hah Hah! Just kidding. You have heard that rumor...haven't you?

Ken

If the Pepe figure ever does come along, do you think there might be some problems making such a small figure with four ball joint sholders?

uncleduke-

Actually I was thinking about this last night, and I would compare the Simpsons blackboard bit to the S & W bits from seasons 2-4 (Fozzie joke in season 1), particularly given their placement in the middle of the opening credits.

Boglins!!!! Yeah, that's it!! Wow, are those things still out there? hmmmm, I think I need to make a TRU run. Thanks Aerosmith.

As for the Harry terrorist debate, I don't thnk Harry being pulled form shleves is an unrealistic prediction because sensitivities to things like explosions and action figures touting gunpowder and what-not r pretty high right now. Like it or not. Do I REALLY think in my heart of hearts that Harry is going to get pulled? Do I stay up late at night worrying about it? No, BUT I'm also aware ofthe possibility. Truthfully, I think in the end no one is going to care but ... I'm not taking any chances. Remember it's just a piece of plastic (okay, it's a really cool shaped piece of plastic, but just plastic nonetheless).

anyways, glad i can be entertaining!
(actually tarzan is one of my fave disney films as its their most violent and most anime looking one to date)
