I recently watched the Alzhiemer's episode, and honestly it's one of the best newer episodes. Am I the only one that find Bubby very funny?

Yeah the reason for it was pretty dumb. He loved his pacifier!
I still say this is all proof they are out of ideas.
You have to admit. Arthur has taken upon itself the duty to educate kids about various illnesses and handicaps that they're going to encounter in their lives. A humongous "right on" came out of their work talking about Aspergers syndrome. That stuff illicits a positive response, and it's no more out of ideas than Mr. Hooper's death being addressed on Sesame Street.
No... the real "we're out of ideas" was Buster's Secret Admirer... among other things, they already DID a secret admirer episode when Francine and Brain wanted revenge on Muffy for dissing their science projects.

I agree. I haven't seen the secret admirer one yet, and based on reviews of it I don't plan to.
The episode wasn't so much terrible, but the ending and the big reveal is so titanically stupid that it made me want to reach into the television and scream at Buster's Mother about how insanely, almost incestuously obsessed she is with Buster. And then dope slap her. Seriously... "Ooh! It was one of their stupid made up holidays!" That's the worst reveal since the ending to Lost. Even if Buster woke up and it was all a dream, it would have been better.

Oh my gosh! Little Bear did the same thing, but of course he never put romance into play. He just thought it was one of his friends.

I recently watched a newer episode for the first time, "Fifteen," and I really enjoyed it. I think that's the kind of thing the show needs. I loved how there were three different subplots going on: George on the radio show, Arthur and his report, and the pets and imaginary friends, which all end up related to each other. I thought it worked well. Still not quite as good as the classic episodes, but it's definitely not the worst.
I kind of feel this is becoming like Sesame Street in a way: we're talking about the "classic episodes" and how good they were, and how in the newer ones the show has declined.
