Arthur - Where is the Show Going?

I discovered something regarding the opening theme. When they show over a dozen faces of kids (mainly students) as they and Ziggy Marley sings "What a wonderful kind of day!" in background frames - just before we see Arthur alongside Francine riding bikes (and the latter doing a wheelie), it seems as if most of the kids in that background are girls. Could it be possible that Arthur had more a thing for girls than boys and he was likely hiding it? D.W. was included in the faces, despite his issues with some of her habits.

I also discovered that the HD version had added new faces - such as Fern, George, and even D.W.'s close friends (though only one of the Tibble Twins is shown). Makes sense, since D.W. was always included among the faces.
