I KNOW, RIGHT!!!!! Terry the Tomboy is some spin-off on this show that used to be popular like 2 years ago called Awesomeness TV. Now, they're freaking making a movie out of a show that nobody likes anymore!!! I will not put up with this crap!!!! The last thing I'll need to see in that movie is some pop star walk by doing a cameo acting like he's the star of it...

Well, There's no doubt that 50 Shades will be X rated. Hard R at the very least with major edits. There's no way One Direction's fan base would be old enough (18+) to flock to a movie with the same rating. I don't even see a 1D movie being PG-13, so I guess they'd go with something I call "relationship Porn." You know. Gratuitous relationships between characters that don't make any sense together in a relationship because it's Deviant Art? Am I ever sick of those.
The AV Club article made it sound like one of those movies, something about a girl meeting a "bad boy" and "discovering who she is". Yicch. Excuse me while I vomit.

So apparently, they changed things in Annie.

And I still don't care, cuz it still sucks.

So... they made another "The Purge" movie with essentially the same plot.

Yeah.

Now, could we talk about the lack of good shows on Nick and Disney Channel???? You guys may have different opinions about these shows, but I think Nick actually did a good job with iCarly, Victorious, and Sam and Cat... The rest is just such crap. I mean, Liv and Maddie?? The Thundermans?? Now, please excuse me as I pass out at the names of these horrible shows.

I've never been a fan of the live action shows on Nick or Disney... well, not all the live action shows on Nick, of course... the 80's Canadian ones were always fun, Double Dare was always great, and I do like Pete and Pete, All that, and by extension Kenan and Kel. And as far as Disney goes, that one with Shea La Beouf before he became a complete schmuck was pretty good. But I agree the quality of these new shows is low, due to the fact they have pretty much done it all. Thundermans proves the Superhero trope is played, especially the growingly unfunny parody Superhero trope. And I don't get the deal with "Dead Black Family with living White Family." I mean, somehow some comedian has to point out why is the BLACK family that has to be dead?

However, I can begrudge them on that, but the animated programming (for the most part) is quite outstanding. Disney hasn't had cartoons that good since Disney Afternoon. I caught some of the leaked preview of the 7D series? I didn't even expect it to be that great, even though I knew it was headed up by former Animaniacs writers. As for Nick, Sanjay and Craig has become one of my new favorites in a short time, and their version of TMNT is close tracked to becoming my favorite animated version of the characters. I guess you have to take the good with the bad. Heck, I give Disney and Nick credit for actually trying to move away from the phoney interactivity of shows like Mickey's Clubhouse and Dora. Even their preschool shows are getting good.

Just... do we really need a show called "I didn't Do it?" Seems like something that would be a parody of something... like it belongs in that episode of The Simpsons where Bart was Krusty's assistant, and he accidentally became a minor star with that exact phrase. To say the least of Dog with a Blog. Hey! It rhymes. The thing was made into a show because it rhymes!

EXACTLY!!! Freaking " I didn't do it?" could've been something GOOD, but they chose it to not be something good. Because, really, I don't need " I didn't do it" said every single day by a really annoying talking dude!!! ( Austin North, I'm referring to.)

Seriously, Dog with a Blog??????? They chose it to focus on one minute things that are hardly seen in each episode??? They hardly ever talk about the dog having a blog. Might've been called Dog That Talks??? but no, they had to focus on the BLOG part!

That said, I give Disney credit for breaking things up into 2 channels, and Nick for "The 90's are All That" block. And, frankly, I never really liked tweencoms, even back in the days of Saved by the Bell. But this isn't really the thread for this.

So, like, how long does anyone expect Planes 3 to come out? I hope never.

That's exactly what I thought of when I saw an ad for it during an airing of The Muppets a few months ago. I mean, I already loathe most of the Disney Channel's output, but even that show feels like a parody; what with the atrocious, almost meme-worthy child acting, or simply the fact that the show takes it's name from such a hackneyed, clichéd catchphrase.

"Honey, have you seen my paaaaaaaaannnnnttss?"

Yeah, I Didn't Do It is pretty stupid... ( Oh, and by the way, I love " Honey, have you seen my paaaaannnnnttsss??" because of The LEGO Movie. It was actually funny.)
