I'd like to see if the Nostalgia Critic would review this. Now that would be hilarious!
Life of Rhyme MAD - YouTubeOogieloves got a mention on the cartoon version of MAD. The Life of Pi parody said something about him being in terrible places before, and being one of the 10 people who saw the movie.
Seriously... if only it was 7 years earlier, they could have been part of the Barney Bunch. That's the most mileage those characters ever would have gotten.
Oh, thank you, Emer!! See, guys? You got your darn Oogieloves review AND I got to retire!! YAY!!!Emer!
That video reminded me of this:Life of Rhyme MAD - YouTube
The 2:13 section of the clip solidifies the moment the Oogies have fallen into the bottomless pit of obscurity......
I know, People using the TV to babysit their kids happened on my vacation to Georgia. I plan on making a separate thread for this, just so I don't go off topic.TWO sequels? Perish the thought.
Today's cinema ALWAYS goes for FOUR movies in a series.
But on a serious note, that's what happens sometimes - a movie will do really poorly at the box office, but sometimes they become cult classics when they're released on VHS or DVD... I'd chalk up your encounters to a couple of coincidences though; those parents probably got the movie to babysit their kids.
That's why there was a huge slide in the quality of preschool programming in such a short time. Old School Sesame fans don't seem to appreciate that fact, or even notice. There are times when you absolutely need to get a toddler out of the way, important phone calls, laundry... but preschool television franchises are more often than not based on babysitting kids.I know, People using the TV to babysit their kids happened on my vacation to Georgia.
