Announcing the MuppetCast

Hi-ho everyone!

I would like to warmly welcome everyone to my new podcast, The MuppetCast! The website is http://www.muppetcast.com. This podcast is dedicated to the work of Jim Henson and the Muppets, both past and present projects.

What's a podcast?

A podcast is basically just an mp3 file. The audio in the mp3 is a fully-produced show, in my case, containing my show about the Muppets. It's 100% free, and will always remain free. You don't need an iPod either! You can even click a link called "Play Now" and the show will just play right there in your web browser. Pretty cool, huh?

One last thing, if you are a bit more tech-savvy and would like to add my feed to your podcast aggregator, please use:

I'm listening to it right now, and I'm really enjoying it. Would you ever consider having other fans partake in future episodes? Not that I personally would want to. I'm microphone shy. But it would be fun to hear differing views on the show. Again, good job!

I would LOVE that!!! That's half the reason I started the show. You really should get on the mic, it's easy! If not that, send me an email with something I can read on the show!

You know it's funny, my husband is really into podcasts, he likes to listen to them when he's driving because he says it keeps him awake more than music. Anyway, I was like, is there any podcasts on the Muppets? And he never found any. I'm so excited that there is one now! Thanks for sharing this with us!

As of today, plans are in the works for The MuppetCast to appear as part of Mousefest 2007. What's Mousefest? Only the coolest thing ever!

Everybody goes to Mousefest, it's the coolest!
