Yeah, overall I thought last night's show was a little dull. I'm worried about La Toya (my fave), since I agreed that her first song choice was a little boring. I think it's Jasmine's week to go, though. The only thing is that Simon needs to be careful about telling people they're going to be voted off (if he does think they should be)--it usually causes a huge turnout among their fans.
I saw Clay on Leno too, and he was great. He did seem to be going for the old-school-Clay look with the glasses, though--I was surprised.

but my Paula was on there the night before with the other judges and she was SOOOOO pretty!
The only thing I didn't like was that Jay said they were going to show a tribute to Paula, and she seemed really surprised and happy about that and then it turned out to be scary drag queens dancing to her music. She seemed kind of bummed out that it wasn't something serious. I know I was.
I would've liked to see what Dave would've had to say to him...
Actually, I enjoyed it, but I just thought it was really weird. One of the strangest songs ever written... Even Jimmy Webb has said he doesn't really know what it means. I was surprised when I found out he wrote it, and I little disturbed, but then I thought it was cool because he always writes songs that Art Garfunkel sings, while this one was sung by Richard Harris, who played Arthur in "Camelot." I guess he's just all about the Arthurs! I think that Weird Al's parody, "Jurassic Park," makes a lot more sense. And of course, I loved Clay being back.
. I think she gets too involved with the kids and especially the ones that kick butt like LaToya did.
